Gaston County MLK Unity Awards - Gaston Clergy & Citizens Coalition recognize local residents for efforts to build bridges of unity in Gaston County.
Breakfast of Champions - Gaston Clergy & Citizens Coalition partner with Communities In Schools to conduct one-on-one monthly event with students – program currently held at Bessemer City Middle School and Grier Middle School.
Poverty Simulation Exercise - Keeping Families Intact community-wide event to role play challenges/barriers of everyday life of those in poverty.

Breakfast of Champions - Gaston Clergy & Citizens Coalition group partners with Communities In Schools for one-on-one monthly events with students – currently held at York Chester Middle School.
Health at Home Program Reception – This is a thank you event for the human service agency representatives who work with the “Health at Home Handbook program,” training book recipients on usage of the book.

Breakfast of Champions Road Trip to Discovery Place - Gaston Clergy & Citizens Coalition partners with Communities In Schools to conduct one-on-one monthly events with students – the group travel to Discovery place for this month’s event.
Gaston Clergy & Citizens Coalition Summit - County-wide meeting of municipal and denominational clergy leaders to discuss the teen pregnancy issue as well as program offerings for parents and youth for better communication about teen risk-taking behavior.

Community Leadership Awards Event - Annual event recognizing an organization in Gaston County that has used unique problem solving to create a positive impact on the Quality of Life in Gaston County.
Proudest Kid in Gaston County Essay Contest - Follow-up third-grade community pride building program to the Pride in Gaston Traveling Tour field trip.
Run for the Money Community Foundation Event - Gaston Together participates in this county-wide fund-raising event for non-profit organizations.

Gaston 2020 Entrepreneurial Student Business Idea Contest Awards - Winners announced at a May County Commission Meeting for the 2009-2010 Contest.

Gaston Community Healthcare Commission Legislative Breakfast - County-wide event for community participants to engage Gaston County Raleigh Legislative Delegation in conversations about healthcare issues.
