Situation Table Training

We are excited to announce Gaston Together is launching the first Gaston County Hub Situation Table! Situation Tables bring together community organizations and partners to quickly address the needs of individuals facing acutely elevated risks. Using a unique, risk-based, rapid triage model, Situation Tables bring together providers to address the needs of individuals and/or families who are often facing the highest level of combined risks in a community or region and often fall through the cracks in the system.

A successful Table builds interagency relationships and collaboration to reduce barriers and improve service delivery opportunities. Agency participants include, but are not limited to, community-based organizations, schools, child welfare, youth services, hospitals, fire/EMS, mental and behavioral health, treatment facilities, peer recovery, housing, public safety, public health, courts, correctional facilities, city/town government, and local attorneys. There is no limit to who can be at the Gaston County Situation Table; please share this training opportunity.

We are hosting a 2 day training on May 12th & 13th, 2026 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Anyone interested in participating in the Hub Situation Table should attend the training. The training will be held at the Gaston County DSS Auditorium.  It is free- there is no cost to attend,  and lunch, snacks, and coffee will be provided.

We recommend everyone attend the training for both full days; however, we recognize this may not be possible for everyone. Please reach out to us (llee@gastontogether.org) if you are unable to attend both full days. System leaders and executives are encouraged to attend the morning session on Day 1 of the training.

The full details of the training are included in the flyer. Please register through the button below.
